It’s still early in development, but BattleBit is already great fun to play. ![]() The low poly visuals don’t just reduce GPU loads though, they lots of character to the game and it has a surprisingly large amount of features, including character customisation, customisable load-outs, bullet trajectories that are affected by wind and aiming that’s affected by stamina. Probably best described as “low poly Battlefield”, BattleBit is designed to offer fun massive scale battles that will run on even the most feeble computer. It seems like the game will have squad like "Layers" so the devs or modders can come up with their own objective placements, but I think it would be best out of the gate to have additional cap zones on some maps.BattleBit is a fun low poly Battlefield-inspired hardcore tactical shooter designed to allow for epic battles between 64-128 players over large maps with lots of weaponry, multiple character classes and vehicles. There was one conquest maps, I can't remember the name of it, but it was on this tropical looking island, and it had the objectives placed in a straight line basically, but there was way more to the map that could have been cap zones, like a big underground bunker looking thing to the north east of the map, and then to the west there was a big beached tanker or something that would have made for perfect cap zones. ![]() As it is, almost all of the conquest maps the cap zones are either having the teams converge in the middle kinda like operation metro, or they're kind of a linear line that bring you closer and closer to the enemy teams base. Click to shrink.I think what would help a lot for the conquest maps is adding one or two more cap zones and spreading the players out a lot more. ![]()
